Phantasmagoria Mirror explores the tension between seeing and not seeing. Through a semi-transparent mirror and facial-tracking augmented reality, a skull appears over the viewer’s own reflection, momentarily merging the living face with its future remains. The work reimagines the memento mori through contemporary technology, confronting mortality through the act of looking.
