Aquatopia – Water Sculptures

The baroque play with metamorphosis and mortality in "Aquatopia" celebrates the modern alchemy of copper and limescale while reminding us of the pollution of our most precious resource – water. "Aquatopia" sculptures, inspired by traditional water systems, reimagine drinking vessels, scooping bowls, storages, and shower funnels using original plumbing parts and laboratory objects. Crafted from copper and glass, these objects balance function, imagined use, and aesthetic appeal. Produced via electroforming, they feature decorative, plant-like growth formations symbolising life's dependence on water.
