Best Before explores the relationship between the body and crude oil through a series of wearable objects. The jewellery incorporates solidified crude oil that gradually melts in response to body heat, staining the wearer and leaving traces on the body and surrounding space. The work transforms jewellery from a static object into a temporary, unstable material encounter.
